Monceaux Sentenced to Life

  After being convicted on 2 counts of first-degree rape and 3 counts of sexual battery of a juvenile, David P. Monceaux, 34, Lake Charles, was sentenced today by Judge Michael Canaday to life imprisonment without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence on the two rape convictions; and 50 years Department of Corrections without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence on the sexual batteries. The two life sentences and one of the sexual battery sentences were ordered to run consecutively.

 

Assistant District Attorneys Denisse Parrales and Charles Robinson prosecuted the case for the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office.
