All public records requests should be addressed to the Public Records Custodian, Assistant District Attorney Carla S. Sigler. They should comply with the statutory requirements found at La. R.S. 44:1. Requests not in compliance with the statute will be declined. A reasonable fee may be charged for the records.
Public records requests may be sent by email to Csigler@cpdao.org and Kabshire@cpdao.org, or by mail to the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office, c/o Carla Sigler, 901 Lakeshore Drive, Suite 800, Lake Charles, Louisiana, 70601. Requests can take up to 14 days to fulfill.
Please be advised that the Office of the District Attorney is not the statutory custodian having custody and control over certain documents requested via public records requests.
