Ropes Course

The Ropes Course is a series of obstacles made of rope, wood, and cable designed to promote group cooperation and individual achievement. The basic concepts of teamwork, effective communication, and goal-setting are introduced while participating in the “hands-on” activities during the Ropes Course.

Established in October 1995, the Ropes Course was originally developed and designed for offenders in Calcasieu Parish that participated in the Pre-Trial Diversion Program. Realizing how beneficial this course could be to local business leaders, the program became open to the community in which approximately 243 organizations, businesses, and corporations have sent almost 3,600+ members and employees through the course with outstanding results.
