Calcasieu Full Force

In an effort to combat the dramatic increase in both DWI offenses and traffic fatalities, the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office and all local law enforcement agencies in the parish have united to fight impaired driving with the CALCASIEU FULL FORCE DWI CAMPAIGN. All participating agencies agreed to provide manpower, resources, and to work together to implement multiple check points throughout the parish on a continuing basis. At these checkpoints, trained law officers screen drivers for not only alcohol intoxication but drug impairment as well. In addition to these checkpoints, each agency has agreed to be more vigilant in stopping DWI’s by providing increased patrols
in their respective areas.
