Today, August 31st, Judge Derrick Kee sentenced Marcus H. Strahan, 49, Westlake, to 21 years in prison on one (1) count indecent behavior of a juvenile under the age of thirteen; and 12.5
years in prison on one (1) count attempted indecent behavior of a juvenile under thirteen. The sentences are to run concurrently.
On June 3, Strahan was found guilty of one (1) count of indecent behavior with a juvenile under thirteen; and one (1) count of attempted indecent behavior with a juvenile under thirteen.
Chief of Litigation Bobby Holmes and Assistant District Attorney Denisse Parrales prosecuted the case for the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office.
