Leo Thibodeaux, Jr. Sentenced to Life in Prison

On August 7, 2015 Judge Guy Bradberry sentenced Leo Thibodeaux, Jr. to life in prison without the benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence. The sentence will be served with the Louisiana Department of Corrections.

A jury convicted Thibodeaux of Second Degree Murder back on May 19, 2015. Toni Frabbielle, his 37-year-old girlfriend, was killed in the March 28, 2012 incident. The murder occurred in a home they shared near Dequincy. Frabielle suffered two gunshot wounds.

Andree Daugereaux investigated the case for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Rick Bryant with the help of Assistant District Attorney Hope Buford.
