Bello Sentenced to Life in Prison

On May 30, 2013, Judge Kent Savoie sentenced Eric Bello to life in prison without the benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence after a jury found him guilty of killing a family member in November 2008. Bello was found guilty of second degree murder by a jury on May 23, 2013.

 

His life sentence will be served with the Louisiana Department of Corrections.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney David Kimball for the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office with the assistance of Assistant District Attorney Brett Sandifer.
